My Ph.D. is in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan. I've been teaching at Texas State for over 40 years and feel very fortunate to be here. The courses I most commonly teach are Lifespan Development, Psychology of Human Sexuality, and Psychology of Women. I'm currently on my second of three years of "phased retirement," teaching 50%.

Family members include my daughter Alana, my son Jordan, and my husband Bob. Alana is a math instructor at Texas State, and Jordan, who graduated from Texas State with a B.S. in physics, is working with my husband in remodeling/rental management.
