The following is a general guideline of how to become a Psychology Major at Texas State.

1. Complete a Change of Major/Minor for in PSY 208 to become a Psychology Pre-Major
   
2. Complete the following courses with a grade of C or higher:
   
   • PSY 1300
     
   • PSY 3300
     
   • MATH 1315, 1317, or higher
     
3. Decide on a minor
   
4. Complete 30 Hours with a Texas State GPA of 2.25
   
5. Apply for the major in PSY 208
