Choosing a BA or a BS Degree

BACHELOR OF ARTS

For this degree students will need the equivalent of the completion of the second year of modern language. Ordinarily students will take 1410, 1420, 2310, 2320, but with the permission of the Department of Modern Languages, a student may be able to skip some of the coursework.The course catalogue describes the different minors that can be chosen. All psychology majors are required to have a minor.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE

Only one year of modern Language (usually 1410, 1420) is required for the Bachelor of Science degree. The minors that one can select, though, are limited. Minors must be chosen from biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and physics. See the catalogue for more specific requirements for these minors.
