| Taking PSY 3301 & PSY 3302 |
To register for PSY 3301 (Statistics) you must be admitted to the Psychology major. There is a form available in the main Psychology office (PSY 208) in order to apply for the major. It is very important that you apply for admission to the major before trying to register. To be admitted to the major you must have completed 30 hours, including PSY 1300 with a C or better, PSY 2315 with a C or better, and one of the following with a grade of C or better: MATH 1315, 1317, 1319, 2321, or 2328.
To register for PSY 3302 (Design & Methods) you must successfully complete PSY 3301 with a grade of C or better. Under special circumstances, you may apply to take PSY 3302 if you have a D in PSY 3301, but you must complete the On-Line Override Request Form prior to registration.
After filling out the form and being approved, you must still register for the class. REMEMBER: Approval to take the class is NOT the same as actually registering for it.
