The following are a list of steps to help guide you through the application process for the Master's in Health Psychology.
Obtain a copy of the Graduate College Application and the Department of Psychology Application. The Graduate College Application can be completed on-line from the Graduate College website. The Department of Psychology Application can be obtained from our website.
Submit the Graduate College Application, transcripts, and fees. The University
requires that you submit a graduate college application, official
transcripts from each college or university you have attended, and a nonrefundable
application fee. For more information on the Graduate College application process, please see the
Graduate College website.
These materials should be submitted directly to:
Submit the Department of Psychology Application. You may download this form
from our website or call us at (512)245-2526 to have a copy faxed to you. This form
should be mailed to:
Submit your Statement of Career Goals to the Department of Psychology. The statement should be approximately 500 words in length and convey your plans for graduate study and a professional career. Please submit your Statement of Career Goals directly to the Department of Psychology (see address above).
Have three (3) letters of recommendation submitted to the Department Psychology. You should request letters of recommendation from three sources to be submitted to the department on your behalf. The letters of recommendation should be sent directly to the department (see address above). There is no special form for the letters of recommendation at this time.
Resume/curriculum vitae. This should include prior experience in research or clinical areas, awards, and scholarships. Please send this directly to the department (see address above).
