The Psychology Department is located in room 253 on the second floor of the Undergraduate Academic Center on the Texas State University-San Marcos main campus. The Undergraduate Academic Center is next door to Nueces, which houses the University Police Department and across from Evans Liberal Arts.

From LBJ Student Center:

• Walk towards Alkek Library, the large rectangular limestone building.
• Go through the Alkek Library breezeway and continue down the stairs.
• Immediately turn right and go past Evans Liberal Arts
• This path leads directly to the Undergraduate Academic Center front door.

From Old Main:

• Walk towards Alkek Library through The Quad
• Continue down The Quad until you reach the statue of the Bobcat. This is LBJ Drive.
• Turn Left at LBJ drive and walk until you reach Bobcat Trail.
• Turn right on Bobcat Trail. The Undergraduate Academic Center is the second building on the left.

From the North (Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth)

Entering San Marcos from I-35N:

• Take Exit 206, Aquarena Springs Drive
• From the feeder, turn right onto Aquarena Springs Drive
• Continue on Aquarena Springs Drive until you reach the intersection with Sessom and University Drive
• You are now at the Texas State Campus. See the Parking section for Parking Information

From the South (San Antonio, Laredo)

Entering San Marcos from I-35S:

• Take Exit 205, TX 80 Luling/Lockhart, TX21 Bastrop
• From the feeder, turn left onto Old RM 12 (E. Hopkins St.)
• Continue on Hopkins St. past the river until you reach C.M. Allen Pkwy
• Turn Right on N. C.M. Allen Pkwy
• Continue on C.M. Allen Pkwy until you reach University Drive
• Continue straight until you reach the intersection of Sessom and Aquarena Springs Drive
• You are now at the Texas State Campus. See the Parking section for Parking Information

Parking

Most parking on the Texas State campus requires a permit. Visitor Parking near the Undergraduate Academic Center may or may not be available. There are several parking facilites near the Undergraduate Academic Center. The Mathews Street Garage, Woods Street Garage, Tower Garage, and Pleasant Street Garage require a permit. If you do not have a permit, you may park in the LBJ Student Center Garage or the Edward Gary Street Garage for a fee.

To inquire about visitor parking permits, please visit the Parking Services office in the Mathews Street Garage or ask the attentedant at any attended gate campus entrance (LBJ Drive, Moon St.).
